Personal Box Breaks - 2016-17 Select/Revolution

Headed over to the LCS and picked up a box of Select and a box of Revolution.

The Select was underwhelming to say the least but did pull a nice tie die patch RC of Tyler Ulis. The other hit I got was a Diecut Auto of Glen Rice. There are three hits in a box of Select. But I was shafted to the tune of 250 points. Ugh. Did also get a pretty IT blue diecut.

The Revolution was a little more entertaining for me. Funny story to go along with it as well. I specifically went for that dud Select box mentioned above and was pretty disappointed. So I was asking the shop what is something slightly lower priced that I may like. She described Revolution and told me the basic goal is to pull nice lower numbered parallels and that my Sixers PC guys were in the set (Simmons and Saric). I was reluctant since I'm not much of a parallel guy, but she talked me into it. There were 3 boxes left in the case and I pulled one out. I was rung up, paid and about to crack the box when I said to her. let me pick a different box. Don't know why, just had a feeling. Made the swap and opened. First pack, Saric RC. Solid start. Then, I pulled the case insert hit Showstopper of James Harden. So I was happy with this. Last pack I hit a BOOM! Kobe Bryant on card Auto. So I thanked the shop for pushing to that product and my intuition for swapping the box.
